The Khwarizmi International Award announces the KIA Laureates of the 31st session
The Chairman of the KIA is extremely proud to announce that the Grand Jury has selected for the 31st session, five foreign accomplished
researchers as Laureates of the prestigious Khwarizmi International Award.
The award announced and presented to the KIA Laureates, at a ceremony which was held the 24th Feb, 2018 in Tehran.
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge the efforts made by researchers, innovators and inventors from all over the world and to appreciate their high quality research work and contributions to different fields of science and technology such as Medical Sciences, Basic Sciences, Biotechnology, Environment & Basic Medical Sciences, Nanotechnology, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, Mechanics, Agriculture , Natural Resources , Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine, Electrical& Computer, Mechatronics, Industry & Technology Management, Materials& Metallurgy, Information Technology and Chemical Technology.
Over the years, the KIA has attracted the strong support of international organizations including: UNESCO, TWAS, D-8, FAO, UNIDO, WAITRO, Colombo Plan, COMSATS, COMSTECH, ECI Cultural Institute, ECO, ISESCO, ICARDA, IOR-ARC (RCSTT) and WIPO.
